Police from the 103rd Precinct<\/a> in Jamaica<\/a> are looking for a suspect who wore a \u201cScarface\u201d sweatshirt when he sucker punched an elderly man near Rufus King Park in broad daylight on Tuesday, April 21. <\/p>\n Police say the 88-year-old victim was walking on Jamaica Avenue near 148th Street at around 1:30 p.m. when a stranger approached him and punched him in the face with a closed fist causing the senior to fall to the sidewalk. The perpetrator ran away eastbound on Jamaica Avenue toward Rufus King Park a few blocks away. <\/p>\n EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.\n<\/p>\n The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect who is described as having a dark complexion who wore a black jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt depicting Al Pacino in \u201cScarface, \u201cripped gray jeans and red sneakers.<\/p>\n A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment.\n<\/p>\n Anyone with information regarding this assault investigation is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
