As many as five neighboring fire departments were called in on mutual aid.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Upon arrival, crews saw multiple balconies on fire. Phone calls to fire officials say people were trapped due to smoke conditions.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The fire commissioner says around 15 to 20 apartments were impacted.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">One firefighter was injured, according to authorities. At least 18 to 20 people were displaced.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Officials say The Red Cross is at the scene and a shelter has been established for those in need.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Riverdale, Prospect and South Broadway were closed due to the blaze.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The cause of the blaze was not immediately clear.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">This is a developing story.
