The Queens Economic Development Corporation and Queens Tourism Council proudly announce that Queens Taste 2026 will take place at Sound River Studios on the East River in Long Island City on Tuesday, May 12, from 6 pm to 9 pm.<\/p>\n

Queens Taste is a large and long-running culinary showcase in the world\u2019s most delicious borough \u2013 and this year will be the biggest celebration yet! While enjoying skyline views and river currents, at\u00adtendees will snack and sip their way through top shelf local delights.<\/p>\n

\u201cSkip breakfast. Skip lunch. You\u2019ll want the room \u2013 this will be your best eating day of the year,\u201d stated QEDC Executive Director Ben Guttmann. \u201cWe sell out every single year, and once you step inside the event, you immediately see [and smell, and taste] why.\u201d<\/p>\n

Located at 4-40 44th Dr. next to Anabel Basin, Sound River Stu\u00addios is a wheelchair-accessible, gallery-style venue with high ceil\u00adings, white walls, large windows, and skylights. It has the capacity for 450 guests who can flow easily from the cavernous indoor space to a 1,300-square-foot outdoor terrace. And to answer the most com\u00admon Queens question: Parking is easy. A lot is about three city blocks away.<\/p>\n

\"Brewers,<\/a><\/p>\n

Brewers, wine makers, and mixologists will be on tap \u2013 as well as hosts of non-alcoholic fruit juices and teas.<\/p>\n

More than 50 restaurants, beverage purveyors, and dessert mak\u00aders are expected to offer samples of their products. Plus, clients of the Entrepreneur Space, a food-and-business incubator that QEDC operates in Long Island City, will provide their artisanal specialties. And to wash it all down, brewers, wine makers, and mixologists will be on tap \u2013 as well as hosts of non-alcoholic fruit juices and teas.<\/p>\n

More are expected, but here are some entities that have already confirmed their presence: Addictive Wine + Tapas Bar, Althea\u2019s Tropical Delights, Applebee\u2019s, Austin Ale House, Ay G\u00fcey, Bevo\u2019s Kitchen, Chef Papa Vietnamese Kitchen, Cooking with Ayana, First Choice Brew, Heritage Bread Pudding, Il Nonno, Jack\u2019s Pepper Heist, Jora Peruvian, Kakes NYC, LM Caf\u00e9, London Lennie\u2019s, Mayahuel Mexican Restaurant, Moon Man, Mum\u2019s Kitchen, Nab\u00adhya Restaurant, New York Bagel Fest, NY Indonesian Food Bazaar, Oh! Calcutta, F. Ottomanelli\u2019s Burgers + Belgian Fries, Principle Events, Rinc\u00f3n Salvadore\u00f1o, Rockaway Brewing, RW Prime, Sayra\u2019s Wine Bar, Shari\u2019s Tea, Schmidt\u2019s Candy, Southern Peach Squeeze, TAT2 Spirits, The Wine Room of Forest Hills, Tipsy Scoop, Trini Treats, Tootles & French, and Wild Flour Bakery.<\/p>\n

QEDC has hosted Queens Taste since 2004, and last year\u2019s sold-out event attracted more than 500 attendees.<\/p>\n

Queens Taste 2026 also has support from most of the borough\u2019s most distinguished businesses. Again, more are expected to join, but here are the confirmed sponsors: Metropolitan Park, Resorts World New York City, Toast, Port Authority of NY & NJ, Santander Bank, USTA, Amalgamated Bank, Charney Brokerage, Forest Hills Sta\u00addium, Insperity, JFK: The New Terminal One, Litchinut, Mattone Group, New York\u2019s Best Experiences, NYC Ferry, Plaxall, Rock\u00adrose, Silicon Valley Bank, TD Bank, TF Cornerstone, Too Good To Go, Webline Designs, The Shops at Skyview, Yelp, and Schnepps Media.<\/p>\n

Finally, Queens Taste 2026 supports a good cause. Proceeds go to QEDC\u2019s ongoing efforts to attract, create, and maintain jobs in the borough. Tickets cost $125 each (two for $200), but as QEDC is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, they\u2019re partially tax deductible as permitted by law.<\/p>\n

Editor\u2019s note: QEDC has hosted Queens Taste since 2004, and last year\u2019s sold-out event attracted more than 500 attendees. Previous venues have included Citi Field, JFK Airport, Sheraton LaGuardia, and the New York Hall of Science.
