Her Majesty Queen Camilla spoke with Jenna Bush Hager this week as she traveled to the United States, discussing the royal\u2019s visit and passion for reading.<\/p>\n

The exclusive conversation will air in full on TODAY April 30.<\/p>\n

Jenna and the queen conversed following her majesty\u2019s appearance at the New York Public Library in New York City on April 29. She and King Charles II are currently on their first official state visit<\/a> as Britain\u2019s reigning monarch and queen consort. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve been to a lot of places, quite a few,\u201d Jenna tells the queen in a preview shared on NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe have, but it\u2019s been wonderful,\u201d the queen replies, adding, \u201cEverybody\u2019s been very kind and welcoming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Camilla was in attendance to honor the United States and the United Kingdom\u2019s appreciation of literature, according to a royal press release. She particularly highlighted English author A.A. Milne, who originated stories about Winnie-the-Pooh and Christopher Robin. <\/p>\n

Camila\u2019s recognition of the writer\u2019s work was especially meaningful as this year marks the beloved bear\u2019s 100th birthday. The first Winnie-the-Pooh tale was published on October 14, 1926. <\/p>\n

While appearing at the New York Public Library, Camilla took a moment to present a \u201cRoo\u201d doll to add to the library\u2019s Winnie-the-Pooh collection, as well. <\/p>\n

Like Jenna, her majesty\u2019s love for reading and books extends past personal interest. She founded the Queens\u2019 Reading Room, a charity that works to celebrate literature in the states and across the pond. <\/p>\n

The royal\u2019s trip to the library were two of the many items on her itinerary during her and Charles\u2019 current visit to the US<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The pair arrived in Washington, D.C. on April 27<\/a> before making their way to New York. They will also travel to Virginia to celebrate America\u2019s 250th anniversary of independence. There, they will interact with residents and local community groups and enjoy performances from Appalachian cultural groups. The royals will stop by a \u201cblock party\u201d in honor of the 250th anniversary, too. <\/p>\n
