Twenty years after the hit release of The Devil Wears Prada, the Runway magazine gang is back in New York for The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/a>, which opens today, Friday, May 1, in theaters. Now, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), and Nigel Kipling (Stanley Tucci) are navigating the changing world of media while immersed in all things haute couture.<\/p>\n

Eater NY is mapping out all of the New York City restaurants and bars featured in this sequel. Note that if you\u2019re spoiler-averse, don\u2019t read ahead, but I did my best to keep things vague. 110 Atlantic Avenue, at Henry Street, Cobble Hill<\/p>\n

Technically, one of Brooklyn\u2019s best bars, known for its fantastic cocktails and affordable bar food, isn\u2019t in the actual film<\/a>, but it was in the trailer<\/a>. Andy seems to have gone on a date with someone at the Long Island Bar<\/a>, and they\u2019re outside the corner door entrance, where he twirls her around.<\/p>\n

301 Park Avenue, between East 49th and 50th streets, Midtown East<\/p>\n

Before Runway\u2019s big fashion show, Nigel meets with Miranda\u2019s new Emily, Amari Mari (Simone Ashley), at the recently renovated Waldorf-Astoria Hotel<\/a>\u2019s iconic and beautiful restaurant and bar, Peacock Alley<\/a>. They connect at the towering clock in the center of the room.<\/p>\n

120 Hudson Street, at North Moore Street, Tribeca<\/p>\n

Thankfully, Andy is no longer with her grilled cheese-slinging ex-boyfriend. But interestingly, she still hangs out at his former restaurant workplace<\/a>, Bubby\u2019s<\/a>. Andy and her journalism buddies talk about the state of media over table fries, beers, and cocktails in mason jars. In a later scene, she and her friend Mack (Larry Mitchell) have cocktails at the restaurant\u2019s bar.<\/p>\n

226 Lafayette Street, at Spring Street, Soho<\/p>\n

Andy goes on a first date at the Soho location of mega-popular brunch destination Jack\u2019s Wife Freda<\/a>. They sit in a nice corner banquette; she drinks her martini with a twist while he drinks a beer with dinner. (Here\u2019s when I\u2019ll admit that a coworker and I were in the crowd<\/a> trying to see the cast outside this scene in August 2025, because, yes, I noticed those \u201cCerulean\u201d filming notices<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

1022 Lexington Avenue at East 73rd Street, Upper East Side<\/p>\n

Andy and Emily grab a daytime meal on the second floor of Marlow East<\/a>, seated at a prime table overlooking the Upper East Side corner, where they share a copper tin of fries.<\/p>\n

One of the prettiest restaurants on the Upper East Side, this bistro in a brownstone with large windows overlooking the snowy street, is a good choice for an amorous supper, which has a price tag of $140. Hamachi crudo with buttermilk yuzu kosho and cucumber; foie gras with almond and rhubarb; venison tartare with beet and horseradish; and oysters with caviar and Champagne mignonette are among the first bites; while the second course ranges from duck breast with coriander breast to celeriac steak with sambal, spinach, and black trumpets. A strawberry ice cream sundae, or almond cake with white chocolate ganache, quince, and blood orange are worth sticking around for.<\/p>\n

The restaurant boasts a fully organic, local menu, in a very county-style dinner-like setting. Out front are large rocking chairs and a giant cow. Inside there is a upscale bar area, dozens of pies and desserts and then the main dining room.<\/p>\n
