The NYPD is asking for the public\u2019s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx.<\/p>\n

Police said that on Thursday, April 16, at around 8.30 p.m., a 58-year-old man was in the vicinity of 1765 University Avenue when an unidentified person approached him and a verbal dispute ensued.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen the victim was walking away, the individual displayed a knife and stabbed the victim twice in the back,\u201d an NYPD spokesperson said. \u201cThe individual then fled the location in an unknown direction. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.\u201d<\/p>\n
