Q: Are you referring to the model train that\u2019s going to run on a track up by the diner\u2019s ceiling, in an homage to the former Smitty\u2019s Tavern in the village, which had a similar train?<\/p>\n
A: Yes. It\u2019s a G-Scale model train, the largest there is. I just got the engine. That by itself was $700. I think the whole thing will be about $7,000. I\u2019m going to sell advertising on the sides of the cars.<\/p>\n

A: The Irish bowl (with corned beef hash and eggs) and country-fried steak.<\/p>\n

A: Except for vacations, I\u2019ve had one day off since we opened. We do long weekends at Memorial Day and Labor Day, and I take two weeks after New Year\u2019s. I used to use it to go to Europe to play hockey, but now we go on cruises.<\/p>\n
