A new mural has been unveiled across the street from the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.<\/p>\n
The Seneca Nation bought the property at 106 Michigan Avenue earlier this year at the site of the old Club Marcella, which closed earlier this year.<\/p>\n
This new mural showcases Buffalo’s four pro sports teams: the Bandits, Bisons, Sabres and Bills.<\/p>\n
Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino employee Nickey Sereluca created the new artwork.<\/p>\n
“We had this giant blank wall after a fire in this building and we wanted to put something up on it,” Sereluca said. “I really wanted to make it more than a billboard, so I pitched this idea to do a mural with each section based on each sports team. I just went through each section and worked with a lot of fans and did a lot of research, so we really represent each fan base.”<\/p>\n
Sereluca said it took her 200 hours from start to finish on her iPad.
