Prosecutors charged Devin Daugherty with three counts of leaving the scene of leaving a crash resulting in death and one count of driving while revoked or suspended.<\/p>\n

BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, Mo. \u2014 A Moline Acres man was charged Monday in a crash that killed three women in Bellefontaine Neighbors, including an 18-year-old Ritenour High School student who had been crowned prom queen days earlier.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors charged Devin Daugherty with three counts of leaving the scene of leaving a crash resulting in death and one count of driving while revoked or suspended, second offense.<\/p>\n

The crash happened Friday night on Lewis and Clark Boulevard near Haviland Drive.<\/p>\n

According to police, Daugherty’s Cadillac sideswiped a Lexus, causing it to cross the center line and collide with an oncoming Toyota.<\/p>\n

Jordyn “Lunar” Williams, 18, and her 53-year-old aunt, Cherese Fisher, were killed.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Toyota, 28-year-old Andrea Medina, was also killed.<\/p>\n

Daugherty, 20, ran away from the crash, police said, and investigators traced the vehicle back to his mother, who said she hadn’t been driving it and her son was not home.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Daugherty’s mother called police and told them her son was home. He was arrested just after 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Daughtery’s bond was set at $250,000. Online court records did not list an attorney for him.<\/p>\n
