\n\tLooking to salvage the series were both the Jaspers and the Big Green. Both sides were unable to garner any momentum through the first two innings.
\n\tIn the third inning, Joseph Duffield<\/a> struck out the opening batter looking before retiring the next two of three batters.
\n\tMoving his on-base streak to 25 games was Andreaus Lewis<\/a>, who led off the fourth inning with a walk, before advancing to third two batters later, but was ultimately stranded after Colin Basehore<\/a> flew out to right field.
\n\tStill scoreless through four and a half, the Big Green posted the lone run off a triple to right center and drove home one run.
\n\tThe Jaspers, again, had runners in scoring position, but were unable to bring Hunter Sute<\/a> just 90 feet to tie the game at one.
\n\tIn the ninth inning, Manhattan was threatening once more with a lead-off walk issued to Basehore, before Jackson Brinker<\/a> pinch ran for the outfielder to provide speed.
\n\tAfter back-to-back ground-outs, Brinker was stranded on third to end the game.

\n\tStarting pitcher Joseph Duffield<\/a> pitched exceptionally despite being tapped with the loss, having tossed six innings of work, surrendered four hits, allowed one earned run, and struck out four.
\n\tCatcher Andreaus Lewis<\/a> extended his on-base streak to 25 games with a 1-for-3 afternoon, worked a walk, and struck out once.
\n\tOutfielder Justin Best<\/a> posted two walks in a 1-for-2 afternoon.
