{"id":221835,"date":"2026-05-06T11:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T11:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/221835\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T11:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T11:54:09","slug":"greek-night-at-the-parish-of-staten-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/221835\/","title":{"rendered":"Greek Night at the Parish of Staten Island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>STATEN ISLAND \u2013 The Greek Night organized by the parish of Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas in Staten Island in Staten Island was successfully held on Saturday, May 2.<\/p>\n<p>At the packed Katsoris Community Center, guests enjoyed live music by the band Anemos Music, tasted a variety of dishes, and watched youth dance groups perform traditional dances.<\/p>\n<p>The presiding priest, Fr. Vasileios Apostolidis, congratulated the organizing committee on the success of the event, where he expressed, \u201cwe are given the opportunity to all remember together our heritage and roots through traditional music, entertainment, dance, joy, and above all, to strengthen the bonds and relationships among us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-565995\" class=\"size-large wp-image-565995\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/\u03b5\u03bb\u03bb\u03b7\u03bd\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae-\u03b2\u03c1\u03b1\u03b4\u03b9\u03ac-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"  \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-565995\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Greek Night at the Katsoris Community Center.
