Cops are looking for the suspects who allegedly robbed a food delivery man at gunpoint and knifepoint, taking around $3,000 in cash and property in Flushing. <\/p>\n

Police from the 109th Precinct<\/a> in Flushing<\/a> are looking for a pair of armed robbers who targeted a food delivery man last month. <\/p>\n Police say the 54-year-old victim was riding a moped in front of a home at 134-14 Elder La., across the street from the Queens Botanical Garden, on Sunday, April 26, when he was approached by two strangers at around 5:45 p.m. One of the perpetrators pulled out a firearm and his accomplice brandished a knife and forcibly removed the victim\u2019s cell phone, $1,500 in cash, and they snatched a bag of food before they ran off in an unknown direction. <\/p>\n An NYPD spokesman said the victim\u2019s stolen cell phone was valued at approximately $1,500, but he could not say what kind of food the victim was delivering. The victim was not injured during the armed robbery.<\/p>\n The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects on Wednesday and described one as having a dark complexion who wore a black jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers, a black backpack and he carried a plastic bag with the stolen food. The other suspect is described as having a medium complexion who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.<\/p>\n A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to their arrest and indictment.\n<\/p>\n Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org<\/a>\u00a0 or on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) @NYPDTips.
