Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan has earned an \u201cA\u201d Hospital Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group, an independent, peer-reviewed national nonprofit focused on patient safety. Leapfrog grades general hospitals across the country based on more than 22 performance measures reflecting accidents, errors, injuries and infections, and the systems and protocols hospitals have in place to prevent them.<\/p>\n
This is the tenth \u201cA\u201d grade for Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan in the last five years. Via Christis has previously earned the award in the springs of 2021 through 2026 and the falls of 2021 and 2023 through 2025, reflecting the hospital\u2019s ongoing dedication to patient safety and quality care.<\/p>\n
Via Christi\u2019s other accolades include a 4-star rating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Hospital Quality Star Ratings, a 5-star rating for cleanliness, Best-in-State Hospitals 2025 by Newsweek, and as a High-Performing Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report for five consecutive years.<\/p>\n
