Judge Jane Tully sentenced Evans to a three-year conditional discharge and 100 hours of community service.<\/p>\n
An investigation led by the Office of the Attorney General, the city Department of Investigation and the state Department of Motor Vehicles found that, in a scheme lasting from April 2022 to September 2023, Evans used Instagram to advertise and sell more than 50 forged temporary license plates to customers throughout New York and other states.
