The inaugural Queens\u2019 Best Deli Competition<\/a> concluded on Wednesday after residents cast their vote for the top deli in the borough.<\/p>\n More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n 18 delis were nominated for the competition, but ultimately, Empire Shop NYC<\/a>, a beloved deli in Sunnyside, was crowned the winner.<\/p>\n \u201cCongratulations\u00a0to Empire Shop NYC for rising to the top and being named Queens\u2019 Best Deli,\u201d said\u00a0Tom Grech, President and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce. \u201cThis competition was a celebration of the incredible talent and diversity in our borough\u2019s deli scene, and the quality, creativity, and dedication of the owners and staff at Empire Shop NYC clearly resonated with voters.
