{"id":225251,"date":"2026-05-08T22:58:45","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T22:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/225251\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T22:58:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T22:58:45","slug":"news-12-bronx-man-accused-of-terrorizing-neighbors-in-williamsbridge-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/225251\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Man Accused Of Terrorizing Neighbors In Williamsbridge Identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A man accused of terrorizing his neighbors inside a <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/exclusive-williamsbridge-tenants-terrorized-by-neighbor-from-hell-waving-a-hatchet\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Williamsbridge apartment building has been identified.<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Officials say 28-year-old Anthony Orozco is the tenant accused of causing problems inside 1191 E 214th St.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police confirm to News 12 that Orozco was arrested twice in April.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The first incident happened on April 13, around 10:51 a.m. Orozco was arrested for criminal mischief after he broke the camera on the door of an apartment using a stick.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The second arrest was on April 29. Orozco was charged with menacing for swinging a metal rail at a 44-year-old woman.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">In both incidents, Orozco was arrested but later released. Neighbors inside the Williamsbridge building say Orozco is a risk to the community and should not be out on the streets.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">&#8220;I&#8217;m the one that has to come in and out of this building. My kids are the one that have to come in and out of this building. No one&#8217;s protecting us, so it puts me more at risk,&#8221; said a neighbor, Leonia.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Our team knocked on Orozco&#8217;s door to get some answers regarding the troubled video. The 28-year-old only wanted money. <\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">From inside his apartment, Orozco slammed on the door, saying, &#8220;Move away from my door.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">When questioned about the videos of him holding a hatchet to a neighbor&#8217;s door and touching himself inappropriately in the halls, he answered in Spanish, &#8220;What videos? If you give me $5,000, I&#8217;ll give you the interview.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Neighbors told News 12 the violent acts have continued after News 12 reported on the incidents.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Management told News 12 they are still waiting for the warrant for an eviction by the housing court. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man accused of terrorizing his neighbors inside a Williamsbridge apartment building has been identified.
