{"id":225979,"date":"2026-05-09T23:00:36","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T23:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/225979\/"},"modified":"2026-05-09T23:00:36","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T23:00:36","slug":"boy-15-stabbed-in-back-after-dispute-with-2-teens-near-queens-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/225979\/","title":{"rendered":"Boy, 15, stabbed in back after dispute with 2 teens near Queens park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A teen boy was stabbed in the back following a dispute near <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycgovparks.org\/parks\/travers-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Travers Park<\/a> in Queens, cops said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The 16-year-old was stabbed with an unknown sharp object by an unidentified male wearing black pants Friday at 79th St. and Northern Blvd. in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/05\/07\/suspect-arrested-fatal-shooting-young-queens-dad\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jackson Heights<\/a>, around 10:15 p.m., police said.<\/p>\n<p>EMS transported the boy to Harlem Hospital where he was in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>No arrests were made.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was involved in a dispute with two other teens, according to local Councilman Shekar Krishnan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt 10 pm, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed by two other boys who then fled the scene.
