{"id":226193,"date":"2026-05-10T05:13:24","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T05:13:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/226193\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T05:13:24","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T05:13:24","slug":"news-12-westchester-former-new-rochelle-teacher-accused-of-threatening-superintendent-extradited-from-louisiana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/226193\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Westchester | Former New Rochelle Teacher Accused Of Threatening Superintendent Extradited From Louisiana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A former New Rochelle teacher accused of threatening the superintendent returned to Westchester after being found in Louisiana.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The New Rochelle Police Department says Samuel McVey was stopped by officers in Baton Rouge on April 24 and arrested on an extraditable warrant for criminal contempt.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The warrant was issued due to the 47-year-old Briarcliff Manor resident missing a court appearance related to the <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/westchester.news12.com\/briarcliff-manor-man-arrested-for-allegedly-harassing-a-school-superintendent\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">threat allegations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">McVey was originally charged with aggravated harassment after police discovered multiple YouTube videos in which he threatened to show up at board members&#8217; houses with a &#8220;bozooka&#8221; if they did not step down.
