President Trump on Sunday warned Iran against \u201cplaying games\u201d after the Islamic republic refused to discuss its nuclear program<\/a> in the latest peace deal offer.<\/p>\n

Trump slammed the rogue Mideast country for the ongoing delay in the negotiations<\/a> in a rant on Truth Social after Tehran gave its response to America\u2019s peace proposal through Pakistani mediators.<\/p>\n

\u201cIran has been playing games with the United States, and the rest of the World, for 47 years (DELAY, DELAY, DELAY!\u201d Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cFor 47 years the Iranians have been \u201ctapping\u201d us along, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests, and recently wiping out 42,000 innocent, unarmed protestors, and laughing at our now GREAT AGAIN Country. They will be laughing no longer!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

It remains unclear what was in the full Iranian response, but Iran refused to negotiate on its nuclear and missile program, instead trying to shift focus to ending the fighting and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

The response came as US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said the dismantling of Iran\u2019s nuclear program is a \u201cvery clear red line\u201d for the president.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump has stated that Iran cannot be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, with the president vowing on Sunday to do whatever possible to confiscate the Islamic republic\u2019s nuclear materials<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The president has repeatedly warned that the US will renew its airstrike campaign on Iran if it fails to agree to his terms, but Trump has not given a deadline on the new talks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Along with slamming the Iranian peace delays, the president also went on a tirade against former President Barack Obama<\/a>, accusing his former administration of allowing the Islamic republic to thrive despite its open hostilities with the US.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was not only good to them, he was great, actually going to their side, jettisoning Israel, and all other Allies, and giving Iran a major and very powerful new lease on life,\u201d Trump wrote of Obama.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He claimed Iran hit \u201cpay dirt\u201d with Obama, with Tehran allegedly receiving \u201cHundreds of Billions of Dollars\u201d from the US.\u00a0<\/p>\n
