Spring & Mulberry Recalling All Chocolate Bars<\/p>\n
The North Carolina based Spring & Mulberry is recalling its entire line of chocolate bars after possible Salmonella contamination. The company uses dates as the sweetener, and officials with the USDA said that a bad batch of dates could be the issued with the chocolate bars.<\/p>\n
This is the second recall of these products. The first recall came back in January and impacted the\u00a0Mint Leaf flavor, Earl Grey, Lavender Rose, Mango Chili, Mixed Berry, Mulberry Fennel, Pecan Date, and Pure Dark Minis brands of chocolate.<\/p>\n

The recall now covers the entire line of chocolate bars produced by the company.<\/p>\n These chocolate bars were sold nationwide, including here in New York State, online and locally in stores like Whole Foods.<\/p>\n The impacted products were available for purchase online and through select retail partners nationwide since August 2025, according to the FDA<\/a>.<\/p>\n The affected lot numbers, printed on both the box and inner wrapper, include\u00a0025217, 025289, 025325,\u00a0025226, 025274, 025344,\u00a0025346,\u00a0025204, 025205, 025212, 025216, 026037, 026040,\u00a0025245, 025322, 025328,\u00a0025225, 025272, 025342, 025364,\u00a0025220, 025223, 025247, 025248, 025251, 025253, 025288, 025296, 025335, 026008,\u00a0025230, 025287,\u00a0025233, 025237, 025238, 025239, 025240, 025241, 025290, 025294, 025329, 025330,\u00a0025217, 025218, 025219, 025254, 025266, 025269, 025324, 025338, 025350,\u00a0025302, 025303, 026009,\u00a0026013 and 026014.<\/p>\n If you have any of the recalled chocolate bars, you are asked not to consume them and return them to where you purchased them for a full refund.<\/p>\n UTZ Recalls Several Products for Risk of Salmonella <\/p>\n Utz issued a voluntary recall in the United States May 5, of certain limited varieties of Zapp\u2019s\u00ae and Dirty\u00ae potato chips. This voluntary recall follows notification to Utz that a seasoning containing dry milk powder, sourced from California Dairies, Inc. and supplied by a third-party supplier, may contain the presence of\u00a0Salmonella.\u00a0<\/p>\n
