The NYPD has not yet established a connection between the Highland and Forest park incidents, but each was being investigated as a possible hate crime, police told CBS News New York.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Queens antisemitism investigations<\/p>\n
Last week, four suspects allegedly painted swastikas and antisemitic statements<\/a> on synagogues, homes and a car in Flushing and Forest Hills.<\/p>\n NYPD later released\u00a0surveillance images<\/a> showing the group accused of targeting the Rego Park Jewish Center and other locations.\u00a0<\/p>\n Four people are wanted in connection with painting swastikas and antisemitic statements at multiple locations in Queens.\u00a0<\/p>\n NYPD<\/p>\n “When we see Nazi symbols, when we see swastikas, when we see antisemitic graffiti, we must do more on the educational front to combat this kind of hate,” Menin said after visiting the area last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n “There is absolutely no place in our city for this type of vile antisemitism, or hate of any kind.
