\n\tThe Mise En Scene Company (MSC) has acquired world sales rights to \u201cDope Queens<\/a>,\u201d from writer-director Grafton Doyle, and will introduce the title to buyers at the Cannes Film Market<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is produced by Julio Lopez Velasquez \u2013 whose credits include \u201cBuck Run\u201d and \u201cA Place in the Field\u201d \u2013 via Tomorrowland Productions, alongside John Reyes Doyle, Grafton Doyle, and Atit Shah, in association with Create Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDope Queens\u201d played at the Palm Springs International Film Festival earlier this year. Based on true events, the film follows three friends who must hustle through the night on the streets of Tenderloin, San Francisco. <\/p>\n

\n\tMSC will open worldwide sales discussions at Cannes with distributors, streamers, and premium platform buyers. Negotiations were handled by John Reyes Doyle through Equites Productions, with Rory Macdonald representing MSC.<\/p>\n

\n\tMSC CEO Paul Yates said: \u201c\u2018Dope Queens\u2019 is fearless filmmaking \u2013 raw, contemporary, visually arresting, and deeply human.
