Things escalated when the perpetrator rained down punches on the disabled victim.<\/p>\n<p>Still not satisfied, police reported that the heartless hooligan then pulled the man up from his wheelchair and continued the assault, punching him across his body.<\/p>\n<p>After the dastardly attack, the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.\n<\/p>\n<p>The incident was reported to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypd115pct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">115th Precinct<\/a> and NYPD Transit District 20.\u00a0EMS rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was treated for bruising and swelling to his right cheek.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
