BROOKVILLE, NY \u2013 The Manhattan Jaspers baseball team (19-29, 9-18 MAAC) took down the Sharks of LIU (25-19, 24-6 NEC) by a score of 11-1 in seven innings from the LIU Baseball Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Jaspers opened their second Long Island trip of the year by jumping out in front first, courtesy of Ryan Lordier<\/a> getting things started with a leadoff single, which eventually saw Andreaus Lewis<\/a> extend his on-base streak to 31 games, with a base knock to drive home the shortstop.
\n\tIn the next inning, Manhattan continued to stack the runs, with Ryan Lordier<\/a> posting another two RBI’s and driving home Hayden Jung-Goldberg<\/a> and Jackson Babione<\/a> for the two additional runs.
\n\tAfter the Sharks posted their first run of the game, the Jaspers responded with a Babione single to drive home Justin Best<\/a> from second and re-extend the lead to three.
\n\tThe sixth inning featured Trevor Hansen<\/a> continuing his breakout campaign with his 33rd home run to lead off the inning.
\n\tLater, the Jaspers shortstop, Ryan Lordier<\/a>, posted yet another base hit to bring home Jung-Goldberg, before Jackson Brinker<\/a> scored on a Sharks wild pitch, and widened the margin to as much as six.
\n\tIn the seventh inning, Lewis posted a leadoff home run to open the inning, before Trevor Hansen<\/a> supplied his 34th career home run, two batters later, and gave Manhattan a nine-run advantage.
\n\tTowards the end of the inning, Lordier posted his third base knock and drove Jung-Goldberg across the plate for the team’s 11th run.

\n\tCatcher Andreaus Lewis<\/a> extended his on-base streak to 31 consecutive games with a 2-for-4 afternoon, crossing the plate once on his 10th round tripper of the season. Lewis becomes the 13th Jasper since 2004 to post 10 or more home runs.
\n\tInfielder Trevor Hansen<\/a> moved into the top three all-time in program history in home runs with 33 and 34 in a 3-for-4 afternoon, crossed the plate twice, posted three RBIs, and one strikeout.
\n\tInfielder Ryan Lordier<\/a> captured four hits in five at-bats, with four RBI’s, stole two bases, caught once, and crossed the plate once, while striking out once.
\n\tStarting pitcher Trey Packen<\/a> supplied the Green and White with a quality start of four innings, four hits surrendered, one earned run, two walks, three strikeouts in 56 total pitches.
\n\tRelief pitcher Landon Kuntzelman<\/a> secured his first victory of the season with a three-inning outing, while punching out a game-high four batters in 36 total tosses.
