Mayor Zohran Mamdani so far hasn\u2019t announced any news from his \u201cinvestigation\u201d of the city\u2019s \u201chandling\u201d of Rhamell Burke\u2019s psych evaluation \u2014 which saw him released almost instantly, scant hours before he allegedly murdered Ross Falzone at a Chelsea subway station \u2014 and it\u2019s a safe bet he never will, because this is the same old horrible story.<\/p>\n
Obviously deranged lunatics walk loose routinely in these parts, and kill pretty regularly.<\/p>\n
Just 18 months ago and a few blocks from the site of Falzone\u2019s murder, Ramon Rivera, well known as a schizophrenic criminal<\/a> to the systems that should have kept him confined, went on a murder spree, stabbing three people to death shortly after he was released from Rikers.<\/p>\n Rep.
