Contact: Becky Burghart<\/a>, 208-848-6098<\/p>\n Richland, W.A. \u2013 Manhattan Project National Historical Park is offering a lineup of free ranger programs this summer, inviting visitors to explore the history, science, and people behind the Manhattan Project.<\/p>\n The Hike Through Time guided hike will be held Saturday, May 16, from 9:00\u201311:00 a.m. up Candy Mountain. This 3.6\u2011mile round\u2011trip hike highlights the events and individuals that shaped the mid\u2011Columbia River region. Meet at the trailhead at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am departure. No registration required.<\/p>\n Atomic Explorations, a series of one\u2011hour history and science talks, will run Monday through Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from May 25 through September 5 at the park visitor center, 2000 Logston Blvd. in Richland. Topics rotate throughout the week.
