Now his love life\u2019s in the crapper.<\/p>\n

A Queens construction worker was suddenly \u201ccatapulted\u201d out of a port-a-potty while using it \u2014 leaving him with injuries that caused a big stink in the bedroom, a new lawsuit claims.<\/p>\n

Steve Gressey and his wife, Janet, are suing the portable toilet firm Rent A Throne, alleging the \u201cdefective\u201d john destroyed his sex life and left him flush with sky-high medical bills.<\/p>\n

Gressey, an ironworker, was working on the TSX Broadway<\/a> tower in Times Square in 2023 when the portable toilet\u00a0 \u201ccollapsed\u201d as he entered it \u2014 sending him flying off the curb,\u00a0 according to the suit, filed this week in Manhattan Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

The potty \u201ctipped over, rolled and fell off of a concrete curb causing [Gressey] to be catapulted out of the porta-potty to the concrete ground below; falling to the ground and flinging him to the concrete,\u201d the suit claims, causing him \u201cserious injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n

The totally loo-dicrous accident left him out-of-work and bedridden with costly medical bills, and has ruined his sex life with his wife, the lawsuit states.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Janet\u2019s] happiness in his society has been impaired,\u201d the suit claims.\u00a0\u201c[She] lost the support, services, love, companionship, affection, society, sexual relations, solace of her husband,\u201d the suit states.<\/p>\n

Exactly how the port-a-potty wounds have affected his sex life is not specified \u2014 and Greesey\u2019s lawyer did not respond to requests for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Greesey\u00a0was an employee of the construction contractor Gamma USA Inc when he was tossed from the porta potty on May\u00a010, 2023, the suit states.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Rent A Throne] failed to ensure the proper location and placement of the porta-potty and failed to provide and place any securing devices to keep the porta-potty from moving, rolling, shifting tipping and collapsing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Greeseys now seek \u201cmonetary damages\u201d though the suit doesn\u2019t specify how much.<\/p>\n

Rent A Throne, which is based in Queens, did not immediately respond to comment.<\/p>\n

The toilet-centric lawsuit happens to be, well,\u00a0number two \u2014 he previously sued the developer, property owner and contractors over the same incident, with the case still slowly moving through Manhattan Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

The defendants in that case say Greesey was a \u201crecalcitrant worker\u201d who failed to use mandated safety equipment, and that he \u201cvoluntarily\u201d entered the potty, with full knowledge of the \u201cinherent risks.<\/p>\n
