(PIX11) \u2014 A 35-year-old was slashed at a subway station in Midtown Manhattan, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened in the 49th Street subway station around 12:56 a.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p><a data-ylk=\"slk:More Local News;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/pix11.com\/news\/local-news\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0More Local News\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to police, a 35-year-old man got into a verbal dispute with another male; the male slashed the victim on the left side of the neck.<\/p>\n<p>EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged attacker fled from the station, according to police officials<\/p>\n<p>Investigations into the slashing are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n<p>Submit tips to police by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting\u00a0<a data-ylk=\"slk:crimestoppers.nypdonline.org;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"http:\/\/crimestoppers.nypdonline.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">crimestoppers.nypdonline.org<\/a>, downloading the NYPD Crime Stoppers mobile app, or texting 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
