Bubba Weiler\u2019s Well, I\u2019ll Let You Go has returned Off-Broadway, and Playbill has a first look at the encore production.<\/p>\n
The play, which enjoyed a sold-out premiere engagement in Brooklyn last year at The Space at Irondale, has come to Manhattan’s Studio Seaview through June 20 for a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is May 14.<\/p>\n
Set in a small Midwestern town, Well, I’ll Let You Go is a portrait of a woman and a community in crisis. The play shifts backwards and forwards in time, sifting through the rubble of a town, a marriage, and a life built on an American Dream that\u2019s crumbled.<\/p>\n
Directed by Drama Desk and Obie winner Jack Serio, this engagement features the return of Tony nominee Quincy Tyler Bernstine to her Obie award-winning role of Maggie, alongside Cricket Brown (Judgment Day), Will Dagger (Good Night, and Good Luck), Obie winner Emily Davis (Is This A Room), Danny McCarthy (The Minutes, To Kill a Mockingbird), Drama Desk nominee Constance Shulman (The Rose Tattoo, Orange Is the New Black), and Amelia Workman (Jane Anger, A Thousand and One).<\/p>\n
