BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (PIX11) \u2014 A woman was stabbed to death in Brooklyn Sunday morning, according to police.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to a 911 call at around 8:45 a.m. Sunday in the area of Cooper Street and Irving Avenue in Bushwick for a reported assault, police said.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n A 41-year-old woman was found with multiple stab wounds throughout her body, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n She was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.<\/p>\n Police said a person of interest was taken into custody at the scene and officers recovered a knife.<\/p>\n The incident is still being investigated.
