According to one expert, Queen Camilla has splashed around $1000 to change one element of her face.<\/p>\n
The 78-year-old<\/a> has been in the public spotlight and a figure of intense media attention for over 30 years now, dating back to the early 1990s, with her fame intensifying significantly after her marriage to the now King Charles<\/a> in 2005.<\/p>\n She recently dominated American headlines when she and Charles paid a visit to President Donald Trump<\/a> and his First Lady, Melania Trump, during which they enjoyed a four-day tour.<\/a>It comes after Queen Camilla broke royal protocol during the US visit in a major error.<\/a><\/p>\n As hundreds of photos and videos from the tour began circulating on the internet, many fans began to wonder if the queen had ever had anything done aesthetically.<\/p>\n In light of the swirling curiosity, Express US spoke with Dr. Gizem<\/a> Seymenoglu, a medical aesthetician in London whose appointments are arranged through Longevita<\/a>, to see if she noticed any major changes to Camilla’s face.<\/p>\n Camilla and the then Prince Charles pictured together before they were married (Image: Getty)<\/p>\n Looking at recent public appearances of Queen Camilla, Dr. Gizem noticed her brows appear slightly fuller and more structured than in earlier photographs.<\/p>\n \u201cAs we age, the eyebrows often become thinner, lighter, and less defined, especially as the hairs naturally start to grey or shed. In Queen Camilla\u2019s more recent appearances, her brows appear fuller, darker, and more structured, which could potentially suggest some form of brow treatment such as microblading,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n According to Dr. Gizem, one of the main \u201ctell-tale signs\u201d of microblading is a more sculpted or symmetrical brow shape that appears slightly darker immediately after treatment, then softens over time.<\/p>\n \u201cWith microblading, the pigment can initially appear a little stronger or sharper, then gradually settle into a more natural finish after healing. Another thing practitioners look for is a subtle change in the brow shape itself – often the arch becomes more lifted or defined.\u201d<\/p>\n Commenting on the overall aesthetic, Dr. Gizem said that, if any cosmetic brow enhancement has been carried out, the result appears \u201celegant and soft.\u201d<\/p>\n Camilla recently visited the US with Charles (Image: Getty)<\/p>\n The aesthetician added that members of the royal family have long been associated with polished, timeless beauty looks, with elegance and subtlety generally taking precedence over dramatic cosmetic change.<\/p>\n \u201cThe royal family\u2019s overall approach to beauty has always felt very refined and understated,\u201d Dr. Gizem pointed out, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s usually less about noticeable transformation and more about looking well-groomed, elegant, and natural, which is why any aesthetic enhancements – if they exist at all – tend to appear extremely subtle.\u201d<\/p>\n As for cost, Dr. Gizem stressed high-end microblading treatments in London – particularly those performed by sought-after celebrity brow specialists – can range significantly in price.<\/p>\n \u201cIn premium clinics or with very well-known practitioners, microblading can cost up to around \u00a31,000.
