NEW ROCHELLE, NY (May 17, 2026) \u2014 The New Rochelle Police Department announced it has dedicated a police boat in honor of former Detective Mark S. Gado, describing the ceremony as part of a longstanding law enforcement tradition recognizing fallen officers.<\/p>\n
In a statement posted by the department, officials said the dedication honored \u201ca life dedicated to service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the people of New Rochelle.\u201d<\/p>\n
