The tour highlights significant local landmarks, including the site of the first farmhouse and the oldest structure still standing in the village today. Walkers will visit the location where the vote to incorporate as a village occurred and the site where sand was once mined to supply the sidewalks of New York City. The route also passes the community’s beautiful and historic Duke houses while offering insight into when the Cove, Waterway, and Neck sections were developed. Additionally, attendees will discover the history of the Bournedales and how they were later annexed into Plandome Heights.

To stay informed of event details, the association requests that participants RSVP to info@plandomeheightscivic.org.
