(KLTV) &#8211; Former Van Vandal Hoss Brewer tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Brooklyn\u2019s 8-5 win over Rome on Friday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The right-hander has a 4.50 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 14 innings this season. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Brewer entered the game in the eighth inning. He forced Cody Miller to line out, Colby Jones to strike out swinging and Logan Baunschweig to ground out to third for a 1-2-3 inning. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Brewer threw nine pitches, six for strikes. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Brooklyn (10-28) returns home Tuesday to begin a series against Hudson Valley (18-20). <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KLTV.
