Chris Christie<\/a> has long been a Bruce Springsteen<\/a> fan. But The Boss just left the former New Jersey governor hanging.<\/p>\n

Springsteen<\/a>\u2018s \u201cLand of Hope and Dreams\u201d tour came to Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday night and Christie was in attendance. <\/p>\n

In a video captured by a fan<\/a>, The Boss is seen walking through a crowd toward the stage during the performance. Fans reached out to touch and high-five him \u2014 including Christie.<\/p>\n

Springsteen, walking with his head down, completely ignored Christie\u2019s outstretched arm and went back to the stage.<\/p>\n

Christie appeared dejected, withdrawing his hand before glancing at his companions and beginning to clap to the beat of Springsteen\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

To be fair, Springsteen didn\u2019t appear to high-five or acknowledge anyone that reached out to him at this point in the performance.<\/p>\n

Christie, an outspoken foe of Springsteen nemesis President Donald Trump<\/a> has long expressed his Springsteen fandom.<\/p>\n

\u201cHusband, proud father, former Gov and U.S. Attorney, Springsteen fan,\u201d Christie\u2019s X<\/a> (formerly Twitter) profile biography reads. <\/p>\n

The admiration has at times seemed one-sided. Springsteen was critical of Christie\u2019s time as governor<\/a>, though the two did hug at a Hurricane Sandy fundraiser<\/a> in 2012. <\/p>\n

The relationship soured when Springsteen sang a song mocking Christie\u2019s Bridgegate<\/a> scandal during a 2013 appearance on \u201cThe Tonight Show\u201d with Jimmy Fallon. But Christie has said that the duo repaired their relationship over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe text, we talk,\u201d Christie said on the Fifth Column podcast<\/a> earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Neither Springsteen nor Christie have commented on the Thursday concert situation yet. <\/p>\n
