Gibson, alongside the Bronx Tourism Council showed their Bronx pride at the 54th annual Bronx Ball. Held on May 17 at the The Clubhouse at Bally\u2019s Golf Links at Ferry Point, the event featured dinner, dancing, and overall pride and joy for the borough.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sponsors include the Bronx Economic Development Corporation; Business Initiative Corporation; Montefiore Einstein; Verizon; BronxCare Health System; Yankees; AT&T; Metro Plus Health; Cricket; Bally\u2019s Golf Links; Ponce Bank and I Love The Bronx.<\/p>\n The opening remarks were given by Pedro Rivera, Journalist and Co-anchor of Eyewitness News at ABC7.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt is truly an honor to gather with you all for what is a truly magnificent event,\u201d Rivera said. \u201cWe\u2019re celebrating greatness, culture, [and] spirit over the Bronx, and I can see the representation of the world from Mott Haven, to Westchester Square, to University. How amazing is this?\u201d<\/p>\n The Walk of Fame inductees included Lenny Santiago, music and culture executive; Darlene P. Rodriguez, Journalist; Roberto \u201cFanum\u201d Escanio, content creator and streamer, and Darrin Dewitt Henson, actor and choreographer.<\/p>\n The Key to the Borough was given to former Borough President Robert Adams, and the People\u2019s Choice award was given to Jaime \u201cJimmy\u201d Rodriguez, entrepreneur and restaurateur.
