Major road closures, flooding and a lot of wind. People all over Westchester County say it was a rough day to be outside Thursday. <\/p>\n
“It was crazy, not good at all,” said one White Plains resident.<\/p>\n
The Bronx River Parkway between Yonkers and White Plains was closed for hours after it was covered by water. <\/p>\n
“I’m like astounded,” said Millie about the water covering the road. <\/p>\n
On top of the flooding, there was the strong wind and the on and off downpours.<\/p>\n
“We did not expect it to rain this much,” said Carolina Angos, who lives in Yonkers.<\/p>\n
Angos said while the rain was rough Thursday, she is hoping it means a dry day for Halloween. <\/p>\n
