THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 A school bus fell into a sinkhole in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.<\/p>\n
The bus was trapped when the rear tire got stuck in the sinkhole near 1122 East 180th Street and Bronx Park Avenue at around 1:35 p.m., according to the FDNY.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n One person was taken to the hospital for treatment, the FDNY said. It was unclear how many people were on the bus.<\/p>\n Earlier on Wednesday, flights to LaGuardia Airport were delayed over an hour after a sinkhole<\/a> was found on one of the runways, according to the Port Authority.<\/p>\n Officials said the sinkhole was discovered near Runway 4\/22 during a morning inspection of LaGuardia\u2019s airfield.
