PARKCHESTER, Bronx (PIX11) \u2014 The NYPD is asking for help in finding an individual accused of robbing an apartment in the Bronx on May 1.<\/p>\n

Police say the incident happened in the area of Noble Avenue and East 174 Street.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, around 4:10 p.m., an unidentified individual entered an apartment by forcibly damaging the front door.<\/p>\n

Once inside, the individual removed multiple items of jewelry valued at approximately $13,100.<\/p>\n

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.<\/p>\n

After the robbery, police say the unidentified individual was able to escape on foot, traveling northbound on Noble Avenue toward the Cross Bronx Expressway.<\/p>\n

The suspect is described as a male, last seen wearing a light-colored sweater, blue pants, black shoes, and a black baseball cap.<\/p>\n
