QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 If you rely on the No. 7 subway line, be prepared for travel disruptions for Memorial Day weekend.<\/p>\n
The MTA has announced that service will be limited through Monday morning, and that trains will not run between Manhattan and Queens.<\/p>\n
Discover more local reporting on our homepage <\/a><\/p>\n Starting at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, trains will only run every 10 minutes between Flushing-Main Street and 74th Street-Broadway.<\/p>\n The MTA stated the service changes will allow for station improvements.<\/p>\n A handful of subway stations on the No. 7 line have been partially closed since 2025 for structural improvements, including 33rd Street-Rawson Street, 46th Street-Bliss Street, 52nd Street, and 69th Street.<\/p>\n So far this year, the stations have been open only to Queens-bound trains.
