According to reports, he was a \u201cpillar of the community\u201d known for his volunteer work with Hatzolah and as the former owner of a kosher bakery in Flushing.<\/p>\n<p>Itzkowitz\u2019s body <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audacy.com\/1010wins\/news\/local\/man-75-found-fatally-shot-by-lake-at-queens-park-police#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">was found<\/a> just before 5 p.m. Monday on the shore of Kissena Lake in East Flushing.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019d been shot multiple times in the neck and back, police said. His death has been ruled a homicide by the medical examiner.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they currently have no suspect description and are asking for any tips the public may have.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,500 reward.
