Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> announced on Tuesday that he will not compete in the HSBC Championships<\/a> at Queen\u2019s Club or Wimbledon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The No. 2 player in the PIF ATP Rankings is dealing with a wrist injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy recovery is going well and I\u2019m feeling much better, but unfortunately I\u2019m still not ready to compete, which is why I have to withdraw from the grass-court swing at Queen\u2019s and Wimbledon<\/a>,\u201d Alcaraz wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cThey are two truly special tournaments for me and I will miss them a lot. We\u2019ll keep working to come back as soon as possible! \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old last competed in the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell<\/a>, where he won his first-round match against Otto Virtanen<\/a>, but then withdrew before his second-round clash with Otto Virtanen<\/a>. The Spaniard also played at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters<\/a>, where he fell short in the final to Jannik Sinner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz completed his Career Grand Slam at the Australian Open<\/a> and owns a 22-3 record this season, according to the Infosys ATP Win\/Loss Index.<\/p>\n
