Police in Brooklyn Park are looking for four suspects who abandoned a car during a police chase Saturday morning, a vehicle believed to have been stolen in Minneapolis. <\/p>\n
Brooklyn Park Police said one of their officers initiated a traffic stop at 4:50 a.m. for speeding on Edinbrook Terrace. The vehicle did not pull over and, during the chase, left the roadway in the 8600 block of Zane Avenue North.<\/p>\n
Police said four people from inside the vehicle ran out and into a wooded area. Despite a search for the suspects, Brooklyn Park Police said none were located. <\/p>\n
Brooklyn Park Police said the vehicle was stolen, reportedly from an armed carjacking that occurred in Minneapolis. A firearm believed to have been used in the carjacking was found inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. <\/p>\n
