Donald Trump<\/a> issued a warning to New York City (NYC) Governor Kathy Hochul<\/a> when he intimidatingly asked her to watch herself, adding yet another chapter in their prolonged rivalry. In a recent speech, Trump asserted the dominance of the Republican Party as he took a jab at his nemesis, prompting Hochul to pen a strong-worded reply on social media.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump lashes out at NYC governor<\/p>\n

On Friday, May 22, the POTUS boasted of the Republican win in Nassau County before turning his attention to Kathy Hochul.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo Republican wins in Nassau, and he ran, and he won. You better watch yourself, Kathy. You\u2019ve\u00a0got a race. You\u2019ve got a big race,\u201d Donald Trump remarked as per an X (formerly Twitter) clip posted by journalist Aaron Rupar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In reply to Trump\u2019s challenge, the NYC governor reposted the clip on her X profile<\/a> and said, \u201cI won\u2019t be intimidated by Trump \u2014 or any spineless MAGA coward like my opponent Bruce Blakeman. While they\u2019re busy screwing over New Yorkers, I\u2019m fighting like hell to lower costs and protect New Yorkers from his attacks. Game on.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the Rockland County rally on Friday, Donald Trump also called Kathy Hochul a \u201cnice woman\u201d before adding that she\u2019ll never lead the citizens to \u201cthe promised land.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe calls me up a lot. I immediately know it\u2019s her because I do have friends in Buffalo,\u201d he stated before mimicking the first female Governor of New York. \u201cHi, Mr. President, it\u2019s Kathy. Could you help me here? Could you help me there? And we\u2019re having a little problem getting this, and we\u2019re trying to get that. Could you give me a little hand?\u201d the 79-year-old politician exclaimed while talking like Hochul, as per The New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump further continued, \u201cI say, \u2018Kathy you\u2019re always killing me, why the hell would I give you \u2014 ?\u2019 Well, I just thought I\u2019d try. Okay. Thank you very much.\u2019 And the next day she goes out, \u2018We must stop Donald Trump.\u2019 It\u2019s crazy. Trump Derangement Syndrome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kathy Hochul didn\u2019t respond to the rest of Donald Trump\u2019s remarks.<\/p>\n
