She said she was standing next to Lee when he was fatally shot.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">\u201cThe person just start shooting him again. I said, &#8216;Babe get up, get up, get up&#8217; while he\u2019s still shooting him,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">RELATED: <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/brooklyn.news12.com\/man-killed-inside-flatlands-laundromat-identified-as-neighborhood-resident\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Man killed inside Flatlands laundromat identified as neighborhood resident<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A nurse herself, she says she tried to save him.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">\u201cI raised up his shirt, about to do CPR and compressions, but his eyes were already gray,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Sources close to the investigation believe the shooter was targeting Lee and he was shot in the chest and stomach.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police say the shooting happened <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/brooklyn.news12.com\/1-man-dead-another-injured-in-flatlands-shooting\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">around 8 a.m. on Monday<\/a>, and a 68-year-old man was hit by shrapnel on his foot. He is expected to be OK, but Lee later died at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">His wife says they&#8217;ve been together since she was a teenager and that they have three kids together, saying her kids are struggling with the loss.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">&#8220;Last night, he asked, &#8216;where is daddy? I want daddy to come home,'&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">She says she can&#8217;t think of why or who would do this.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">&#8220;He was a family man.
