History was made in the pro wrestling world at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens when MJF defeated Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship in a high-stakes \u2018Hair vs. Title\u2019 match at All Elite Wrestling\u2019s \u2018Dou\u00adble Or Nothing\u2019 Pay-Per-View on Sunday, May 24, 2026.<\/p>\n

AEW delivered an unforgettable event last weekend. The loaded card featured match-ups that kept the sold-out crowd white-hot throughout the evening. Grudges were set\u00adtled, and a multitude of championships changed hands on Sunday night. Hardcore legend and Hall of Famer Mick Foley also made his highly anticipated AEW debut at the \u2018Buy In\u2019 portion of the show.<\/p>\n

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage shocked the entire industry when they became AEW Tag Team Champions after defeating FTR in a brutal \u2018I Quit\u2019 match to officially kick off \u2018Double Or Nothing.\u2019 It was the team\u2019s first cham\u00adpionship win together in over 25 years. The match featured a barbed-wire baseball bat and a flaming table. It wasn\u2019t for the weak at heart. Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada also competed in a classic battle over the AEW International Championship. Takeshita defeated Okada to ce\u00adment his legacy as one of the best current pro wrestlers alive today. The Stadium Stampede match returned to the company and created a memorable atmosphere at the Louis Armstrong Stadium. The team of Chris Jericho, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson toppled Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, Mark Davis, Andrade El Idolo, Clark Connors, and David Finlay in a wild brawl that took place all over the stadium in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Another standout match saw Will Ospreay spectacularly defeat Samoa Joe in the Men\u2019s Owen Hart Cup Quarterfi\u00adnal.<\/p>\n

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan discussed Darby Allin\u2019s tenacious performance in the main event at the \u2018Double Or Nothing\u2019 press conference.<\/p>\n

In the main event, underdog World Champion Darby Allin put his title on the line against AEW\u2019s top villain, Maxwell Jacob Friedman. MJF agreed to shave his head if he lost. It was a contest where both men had everything to lose. AEW fans were fiercely behind Allin, rooting for him to put his opponent away. It was a match that could have gone either way. At the end of the show, MJF\u2019s risky gam\u00adble paid off, as he defeated Allin in a hard-fought battle to become a 3-time AEW World Champion while keeping his precious hair on his head.<\/p>\n
