Since the first race in 1977 \u2014 organized by Manufacturers Hanover with just 200 runners from 50 companies in New York City \u2014 the event has grown into the world’s largest corporate running series, spanning 16 cities across six continents. Starting this year, it takes on a refreshed name: JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge, reflecting its global reach while honoring the community spirit that has defined it for five decades.<\/p>\n

Central Park \u2014 Two nights of the world’s most iconic corporate race<\/p>\n
On Wednesday May 27 and Thursday May 28, 2026, Central Park transforms into the finish-line destination for the JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge New York City. With a start time of 6:45 p.m. each evening, colleagues from companies of all sizes and industries walk, jog or run the 3.5-mile (5.6km) course through Manhattan’s greatest park \u2014 from the streets of New York City back into the green heart of the island. After crossing the finish line, teams celebrate with a post-race party in Central Park, with flexible packages including food, drinks and space to unwind. The event is open to participants of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned runners, at $65 per person.<\/p>\n

The Leaderboard features three scoring categories: Male Teams, Female Teams and Mixed Teams \u2014 all submitted by Team Captains. The Central Park Conservancy is a private, non-profit organization responsible for managing Central Park and raising the Park’s annual operating budget \u2014 maintaining the 840-acre oasis that serves as the backdrop for this iconic race. Every step on the course contributes to the Park that hosts it.<\/p>\n
