He is also the author of the New York Times bestseller \u201cMetropolitans: New York Baseball, Class Struggle, and the People\u2019s Team,\u201d a love letter to the New York Mets and a sweeping study of New York City through the electric and often calamitous history of the franchise.<\/p>\n
