SUNSET PARK \u2014 POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a man suspected of pulling out a knife and slashing a 36-year-old victim in the hand in Sunset Park on Saturday, Oct. 25, around 2:30 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police said the male victim was in front of a Mexican restaurant at 1004 4th Ave. when he got into a verbal dispute with the unidentified suspect. A physical altercation ensued, and the attacker displayed the knife and slashed the victim. The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling in an unknown direction.\u00a0<\/p>\n

EMS transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition. The suspect is described as having a medium complexion and medium build, and is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall.<\/p>\n
