{"id":246685,"date":"2026-05-28T18:25:40","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T18:25:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/246685\/"},"modified":"2026-05-28T18:25:40","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T18:25:40","slug":"three-in-custody-after-shots-fired-at-brooklyn-parks-oak-grove-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/246685\/","title":{"rendered":"Three in Custody After Shots Fired at Brooklyn Park&#8217;s Oak Grove Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1:11 PM | Thursday, May 28, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Three men are in custody after gunshots were fired at a Brooklyn Park park last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>According to Brooklyn Park police, officers responded to a report of shots fired at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brooklynpark.org\/venue\/oak-grove-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Oak Grove Park<\/a> at around 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 24. When they arrived on the scene, they found evidence of gunfire.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector Matt Rabe said the gunshots were mainly in the parking lot and no one was injured.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested three adult suspects throughout the day on Wednesday, May 27. That came after officers executed several search warrants.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects are currently being held at the Hennepin County Jail. They\u2019re being held on enhanced charges of reckless discharge of a firearm in a park.
